This is my preliminary front cover, which is named 'Winstanley Weekly' and is themed with the colours blue and yellow which are primary colours and therefore stand out quite clearly and effectively. I like how my cover has turned out as it looks quite professional, and the fonts I chose are very simple which I think suits this college magazine, but for my music magazine I experimenting with more interesting fonts and text boxes will be more appropriate and make my front cover overall more appealing.
I also like the image i used for my preliminary front cover, as it is bright and clear, and made it quite easy to produce text around it. The white background makes the photo very bold and I will use this effective technique again in my actual music magazine.
