Props and costumes

I had to use a light when I was taking my photos because the pictures came out very dark. Also here is the location for my front cover photo.

For the front cover I wore a a simple black dress and black army boots with a leather jacket, I chose this because I thought that looked more rockish than the other outfit I was going to choose. I tried different positions in different locations but the one I liked best was when I was stood in front of the tree because I thought that it looked more effective there. Also because my background was mostly green it made it easier for me to stand out wearing my black clothes. I also tried some pictures in front of a plain white background but on the pictures the background looked a more off white colour which I thought that for a front of a music magazine wouldnt look as good as the other photo I chose because I wanted it too look more rocky.

For the double page spread I wore plain skinny jeans with a denim jacket, I wore this as I thought that it looked indie and it would look good on the photos. For some of my photos I went into the trees to take some there but the pictures I liked best were the ones when I was on the skate ramps in the skate park. I tried to look serious and more angry because I didnt want my magazine look too girly because the image was going to take up the whole of one page and therefore wanted it to look rockish.
