The title of a magazine is very important as it will establish my magazine and make it a recognisable brand. Having looked at other magazine title i noticed many of them consisted of three letters and often stood for a phrase or saying for example NME is "new musical express," although I liked this idea i wanted to build on it and create something new.
For my title I wanted to reflect a modern urban life, I then thought of shortening London to LDN, I felt this really represented my idea of a contemporary magazine and a busy and bustling life. Like the title of NME I also wanted to use bold capital letters in a striking colour. Most magazines I looked at (NME and Q) often use red to represent the titles, I feel that it is a strong bold colour and would be suitable to use as a colour scheme for my magazine.
