To get use to the convetions of video and to have a better knowlage of video before starting my final project. I made a prelim to have a practise before starting the proper video.

12 Angry Men

This is an old fasion film from the 50's, however, it is set in a court room and will have the convetions of which I can follow for my film clip. The film starts with a shot of the outside of the court room, to set the scene, also to set the scene, it has a shot of the court building, the camera then shadows people inside the building. The camera also shows a room called 228, the court room of where the story takes place. The next scene is inside the court room where the court is order and the judge is reading out the presiding of what will happen. this sets out and explains the situation.

Although my film clip will only last 2 minuets it is meant to include the credits and a title. 12 Angry Men does not start its title an credits until it is about 3 minutes in. In that it is one constant shot of the room in which the jury make a judgement. The font is simple but this could be due to lack of technonolgy in that was available in the 50's. It also has a simple tune playing while the credits are showing. Whilst the credits role and the jurors enter the room, this could be to add to the effect.
