Front Cover Image.

I chose to use my friend Ryan as the model for my front cover as he has the stereotypical style of my target audience. The image on the left was the original picture that i took and the image on the right is the edited version. On photoshop, I adjusted the colour balance to highlight certain areas of his face and then I made the picture black and white. I then altered the levels to get the black and white colours as bold as possible.
I felt that making it black and white empohasised the shadow and adds to the simplicity of my magazines style.
