More Existing Mag Research

I secondly looked at Q Magazine, which is mainly a mixed genre magazine, the covers often feature more than one artist, or a band/duet. They are typically quite simple and dont use much text or other images... It is a monthly published magazine that currently costs £3.99.
Features of this cover include; red and white colour scheme, large bold title, main image of band, dressed in quite plain clothing, and the name of the artist in the top right hand side of the page to attract this to the
reader.
Content of Q Magazine-
- A lot of the magazine is devoted to interviews with music stars
- A large quantity of the magazine is used in reviews for music, and sometimes film and television.
The contents page itself has one large main image, another smaller image and sections for each part of the magazine, it also has a section for the "Oasis special." The layout is kept quite minimalistic and the colours are kept mainly at white and red.

The double page spread from "Q" is also kept quite minimalistic, with one main image used, and using almost a full page with text relating to the band. The colours link back to the colour scheme of the cover and contents.
