Photos for Contents Page

For my contents page I wanted to use photos that included boys as I wanted my magazine to have a mix of both male and female so that it would attract all buyers. I also wanted to use a band because I had already used a solo artist for the front cover and I wanted to have variation in my magazine. I used my brother (right) and his 2 friends as models for my photo as I think they have the right look and look good together as a band. I used a guitar and drumsticks in the shoot so as to make the band look professional and realistic, I also decided to have the shoot outside because I wanted to have a background on the photo so as to vary it from my previous photos where there is just a plain white background. I was really pleased with the photo I got from the shoot as I think that it looks like they are in a band, and the background and boys positions make the photo look really natural and effective. I changed the contrast on the photo so as to make it look more attractive, I also enlarged the image so that the boys filled most of the photo and so there was less background as I think this creates a better impact, as the photo is now more concentrated on them, rather than the background.
