similarities- they both have clear frontal shots of the artists upper half and face and both look like posed images with there face clearly centred as both mouths are in the middle of the page.
the attention is clearly drawn to to them as they both look directly as the camera, directly to the viewer.
the angle from which the shot is taken is also the same, they both have a head on upper body image, that seems to be rather relaxed in just everyday clo
thes.. this could represent my 'social group' of 'indie/rock/grunge'.
both have nothing fancy on, just everyday clothes that are clean, and both look 'groomed'.. these images represent both genders that could be into that style of music.
i found some images of people online that could represent my target audience 'click' of 'indie/rock/grunge'..
heres what they would look like..

this would be the stereotype of people aimed for by my magazine.. the girl resembles the one on my cover as she has blonde hair and a kind of awkward face, and the boy with his relaxed manner and is smoking, like seen on my cover.

i've also found more images of people that would buy my magazine, the boy in blonde looks very much like kurt cobain (singer of nivarna) which would be a band included in my magazine.
