I felt that the image looked cluttered due to the fire place in the corner. For this reason, I cut out the far right area of the image using the 'crop tool' on Photo shop. I cropped from the edge of the fire place, to the edge of the shadow. I made sure that I did not loose any of the shadow as I felt that this emphasised the lighting in the shot which I liked.
