Evalutation Question Six

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT TECHNOLOGIES FROM THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTING THIS PRODUCT?

In the process of making my magazine and the research gone towards it, i have clearly expanded my knowledge of media related ways off suiting thing to the target audience, and have definitely broadened my knowledge of how to use photoshop, as atthe start of the term, i had no idea how too!

from the beginning, i've used such things like;

a camera, in order to be able to take pictures that i can use for my front cover, contents page, and double page spreads.. without the images, i wouldn't have got very far..

I went to Liverpool City by the docks for my photoshoot, with my freinds olivia and eleanor.. after getting the images i could use for my magazine.. i then imported them onto the school computers, and away we go..

i used internet explorer for all my research, for getting onto my blog, and for acessing

dafont.com, these were all really easy to use, and didn't have much trouble with them.

i've used blogger.com for this blog your reading now, it's been really easy to use except when there has been some difficulties trying to upload images.

dafont.com has provided me with font i've used many times during the making of my magazine, these were useful as they're free and can be easily worked with in photoshop.

i've done most of my research at home and quite a few off my blogs on my apple mac at home, however i already knew how to work this, so i haven't really learnt anything new on this.

although i already had a basic knowledge of how to use publisher from high school, i hadn't really needed to use it, so when creating my double page spread at the start, i didn't really know where things where. i've learnt how to use publisher alot more, and know how to get around it. i've used it for my double page spread and once i was used to it, was really easy to use.

and then finally, photoshop. this is the main programme i've used throughout creating my magazine, and has been a bit hard to cope with at times. at the start i had no idea where anything was on photoshop or how to do anything, as it was the first time i'd properly used it. i've certainly progressed in learning how to get around on photoshop and layer things in the right order, and now feel confident when using it.
