Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
In our pre-limery taks we were asked to produce a short introduction to a radio show including a jingle and a short interview with the star of a new film and a 20- 30 second clip from the film.
Looking back at the pre-limery task to the radio station we have made now; we believe we have made a huge improvement. The pre-limery task was not well organized and did not flow well atall with random sound effects in the background which did not fit into the radio broadcast we were doing. Also, we believe the presenting voices were not enthusiastic enough for radio and so we believe this has also improved.
We collected various comments from the class to see what they thought of the pre-limery task to the final radio broadcast after listening to both.
" WOW, the change is amazing, the final broadcast sounds so much more like a proper radio broacast now, the sound effects flow well and the presenters sounds much more enthusiastic."
"I think the final broadcast is much stronger than the pre-limery task. I really enjoyed it."
" The radio broadcast includes sound effects, news headlines, entertainment headlines, enthusiastic presenters; it was really good."
We still believe our radio broadcast is something that any age or audience can listen to. It includes something everyone wiould be interested in and we believe this is what would make opur radio broadcast popular and get a great amount of listeners.
This is a picture of our final broadcats. As you can see we used many effects over voices etc. to make the radio broadcast more exciting.
